Say Cheese

I honestly have no idea what I looked like as a child due to the fact that my mother never took pictures. In fact, she did not own her first camera until two years ago.

She purchased her first camera and took it to church so she could practice on the congregation. Five minutes before church started, mother went up to the front and asked to have everyone's attention. She told them she was going to take their picture on her new camera and wanted everyone to squeeze in real tight. She aimed the lens. Click. She stumbled and nearly lost her balance. Blinking rapidly, she tried to feel her way to her seat before my father stepped down from the pulpit (he's a preacher) to help her to her seat.

She had the camera backwards and the flash had blinded her.
